A great place to start are the videos Orwell Rolls in His Grave (2005) followed by Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media (2002) and Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism (2004) Also useful is the CD Media Control: The Spectacular Achievements of Propaganda Lies the Media Tell Us by James Winter (2007) provides a wide-ranging look at how corporate media distorts many of our economic and political issues both in Canada and elsewhere.
